Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) Jalandhar and approved by the AICTE, Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and other regulatory bodies. About the Conference
The International Conference on Advanced Computational Science and Technology (ICACST-2025) is an academic event designed to bring together leading researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts from around the world to exchange knowledge, present innovative research, and foster collaboration in the field of computing Science.
The conference will provide a multidisciplinary platform for discussion on cutting-edge research, new methodologies, trends, and advancements related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Block Chain, IOT and other computing Science. Earlier she was
Assistant Dean, Research & Consultancy at DIT
University, Dehradun, India. She received her B.
Tech degree in
Information Technology from Himachal Pradesh
University, Shimla, India, and ME (Software
Engineering) and PhD (Computer
Science) degrees from Thapar University, Punjab,
India.
She was awarded with a fellowship
by
UGC,
Government of India,
in 2014. In 2017, she was a recipient of Grace
Hopper Celebration India (GHCI) fellowship. She
has published 6 national
patents, granted 2 national and 1 international
patent(s) has been granted.
Currently,
she
is
associated with two
research projects funded by Ministry of Science
and Innovation, and Andalusian Government,
Spain. She has published many
research articles in international journals and
conferences of repute. Further, she is the
editor of many edited books
with different publishers such as
Wiley-Scrivener, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis
Group, and Bentham Science.
Her research
interests include Artificial Intelligence,
Machine Learning, Knowledge representation,
Expert systems, Software quality
and Healthcare. She is also reviewer and
editorial board member of many international
journals.
Dr. Piyush
Dr.
Piyush Samant is currently a Data Scientist at
Mirxes Labs, Singapore, where he leads AI-driven
projects in medical
imaging and genomics, focusing on cancer
diagnosis and personalized healthcare. He holds
a PhD in Biomedical AI from
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology,
India, with a research focus on developing an
iris-based diagnostic
system for diabetes and related diseases.
He has been recognized with several awards,
including the Thapar Teaching Associate
Scholarship and a Best Paper Award.
His innovations include multiple patents, such
as a pest trapper drone apparatus and smart
diagnostic systems.
Dr. Samant has contributed to over 28 research
publications and led various cross-functional
projects involving clinical
research, bioinformatics, and generative AI
methodologies. Currently, he is associated with
cutting-edge diagnostic
projects that integrate complex clinical and
demographic datasets to improve diagnostic
accuracy.
He has extensive editorial and mentorship
experience, guiding PhD and M.Tech students
while editing scientific books.
His research interests encompass Artificial
Intelligence, Deep Learning, Generative AI,
Predictive Modeling, and
Healthcare Analytics.
